What is the name of your state? Texas

I want to marry a vietnamese girl. She lives in Vietnam and I live in Texas. I want to marry her and have her live legally in the USA by next Christmas. (13 months from now) It is not a sham or any type of marraige for papers. I intend for her to live with me and for us to raise a family together.

How must I go about it? Many thanks.

I would suggest applying for a K-1 visa (fiance visa), form I-129F.
One of the requirements is that you must have met each other in person.
After the application is approved, she may enter the U.S. and you both must marry within 90 days or else she must return to her home country.

Thank you very much. Is there any standard for how long such documents take to process? I appreciate very much your insights. Thank you!!

The process may vary with each country, but I have been through the K-1 visa process twice. Both times took about 7.5 months from submitting the application to going to the airport to pick up the fiance.
The USCIS website shows the processing times for the I-129F, but that is only part of the process. The particular U.S. Embassy's processing time is the other factor.
