I was jailed and male inmates could watch me use the bathroom all night. Can I sue?

I live in AZ, female, and had to spend 24 hours in jail recently. All night the guards left the door open to the cells that the male inmates were in. The inmates could see into my cell so when I had to use the toilet, I tried to hold a blanket up in front of me. I was very embarrassed. Also, whenever they brought an inmate in, the locker room was directly across my cell--I got a strip show as they changed into their prison uniforms.

Does anyone know if I have a case?

As a jail inmate, you have no right to privacy. And as such have no claim against the jail. The best way to avoid this is to not be thrown in jail.

you may have grounds for a complant I work for the prison system in n.c women inmates are treated very different than males. if we go to a female prison to work in the dorms the bathrooms are checked befor we can enter to do any work. their was at one time not sure now but male correction staff could not work in the dorms during a time after supper and lights out because of showering. however you must reliaze that they must maintain security and allowing total privacy cannot be provided.
but like racer said "dont get locked up"

my opinion

i feel that you should be able to get some sort of justification for your invasion of privacy. if there is no form of privacy for different sexuall gender then why don't thay just put males and females together. plus we are talking about a city jail or even a county jail, not a prison. lets just have male undress , dress, bathe, and care for females and females so the same for males. for that fact lets just have unisex facilites
