Hi everyone,
I'm Winfred from Kenya , I married a Danish man but he passed away last year . Our son is 3years old now and lives with me in Kenya. He got his Danish citizenship and a passport valid for only 2years. My son is not a Kenyan as children belong to Fathers nationality in my country and he can't have dual citizenship until he's 18. His grandmother in Denmark would like us to relocate and live in Denmark with my son as he grows up close to her and have all his rights as any other Danish child.

I consulted the consular officer about it and he said it will be very difficult for me to have a visa if I don't have so much money on my account and outstanding businesses here in Kenya. he suggested that the child can go bit not me.

My husband is Danish and my marriage is registered in Denmark, and my son is a Danish citizen, My inlaws are able and Willing to take care of All costs.

Please advise me on what i can do
Thank you

I'm sorry, but this is a US law board. The laws in the US are not necessarily the same as the laws in Kenya or Denmark. There is no application of US laws here; we cannot help you.
