What is the name of your state? arizona

37 yr old been in the USA since 6 monthes old, married to a US citizen for 18yrs, 5 children born in the USA, even has a tax payers number for tax purposes, what do they need to do to get her legal? thank you for any advice you can give =)

Was the initial entry to the US legal or illegal? Have any steps been taken by parents, siblings, employer or spouse to adjust status to permanent resident at any point since the entry?

she was brought in legally by her grandmother, who has since died, her mother has past, her father is alive an born in mexico also, she didnt even know she wasnt born here till the age of 17, they paid a lawyer to help them an he never did,...last she heard, her father, is able to recieve SS benifets but she has lil contact if any with her father.....no application were submitted to immagration they assume because the lawyer told them he was going to mail it in an they were suppose to recieve a reciept saying he sent it but they never got one an they couldnt get a hold of the lawyer after that, but they do have copies of everything he was supose to mail in to immagration.
