What is the name of your state?PA
I had a meeting with the lawyer who represented me in my divorce, to draw up a prenuptial agreement for my impending remarriage.I met with him approximately 2 months before my wedding was to take place. He contacted me once to state he was working on it. For the last 2 weeks I have been unable to reach him (he does not even have a secretary answering his calls)
He is literally a one man practice. I have discovered that he is presently in a 28 day alcohol program and would be unavailable until after the impending wedding. I have therefore faxed him a note stating his services are no longer needed.
If he comes back and decides to charge for whatever work he put in to this, do I have recourse not to pay him a penny.

Contact your local BAR association, they handle fee disputes, tell them what happened. Good luck on your impending marriage.
