What is the name of your state? Tennessee
My car came out of first gear and rolled down a hill hitting 2 cars. I was uninsured @ the time. One of the cars is insured w/ State Farm and the other car is uninsured. I realize that because I am uninsured that State Farm now expects me to pay for the damages to the insured vehicle. I am contemplating filing bankruptcy b/c of bad credit. I am curious if the bill that state farm sends me could be included in a bankruptcy filing? Also, what can the uninsured motorist do to me legally? I would like to know if I have any rights to protect myself financially in this matter. My car is now insured but I am really stressing over this incident. The insured motorist's appraisal came out to $1500 worth of damage. I cant afford to pay this. I just would like to know where to go from here.
