recently we were told we could claim one of my husbands daughters (he has 2) on our taxes. according to the records we received from the court house (in Illinois) we weren't behind in child support. her atty. has since contacted our atty. and said we can't claim her because we are $390.00 behind in pmts. the problem is we already filed taxes claiming her as a dependant and our refund is already in. any advice on what to do now??
