i was hurt on the job on dec8,hurt my lower back,been out on comp since..my doctor doesnt know whats going on so he requested that i have an mri done..to let ya know my back is killing me,if i stand up to long it kills even more.my leg goes completly numb when i try to sleep.cant lift my kids up,feels like my knees are gonna buckle.cant be romantic with my wife cause it hurts so much..sorry about blabbin on..well i recieved a letter today saying i had to examed by independent doctor next month,is there a reason for this?sorry if this thread is long and stupid but i have no clue whats going on i have never been hurt on the job before.. thanks

The WC insurance carrier wants a second opinion on your back injury provided by a doctor of their choosing. This is quite standard.
