Getting signatures after the fact?

What is the name of your state? California

Me and my friends shot a feature film in 2002, knowing very little about release forms. As a result, most actors (unpaid) have not signed releases, and some locations did not give written permission to shoot.

I do hope that this film gets distribution, so this stuff does matter.

My question is, is it possible to have the actors and locations sign releases now, after the fact? Also, I'd like to know if releases need to be signed for shooting on public roads, or in parking lots.

Thanks,
Jason
