What is the name of your state? NC

I was injured by a traction machine while getting treatment. The machine malfunctioned. It pulled too hard and then something in the machine broke and all the tension on my head broke loose and the machine made a horrible noise.I tried to get up but my head was restrained. I got a very bad spasm in my back and now I have pain where I never had it before.

I found out that the FDA had warned the traction machine company about problems with the machine.

After the machine screwed up I was given a steroid and marcaine injection in the muscle spasm so that I could drive home. I had a reaction to the shot that was terrifying. It was horrible. I wept on the phone to my wife that evening. I mention this because I rarely cry. That is how bad it was.

The treating facility was also notified of potential hazards associated with the known problem and is held to either not using the equipment or having in place procedures to prevent or minimize the risk of injury.

You should consult with a medmal attorney and, or a products liability attorney.

I am not, by any means, stating that you do have a valid claim. I am stating I think you have just reason to consult with an attorney.
