What is the name of your state?Colorado
My husband is in jail and one of the correctional officers denied him his medication for his diabetes. He had an issue with this before and brought it to the courts attention. The judge ordered that my husband be given his medication as presecribed. Is this grounds for a lawsuit?

Yes

The moment he went into the system the state is responsible for all of his medical needs. If he is required by a doctor to have the insulin and they will not give it to him he can definately sue the facility he is in and the guard who refused him his meds.
