I was rear-ended with serious whip lash over a month ago and the car was totalled. Settled for property damage although insurance company did try to pull a fast one by keep me in the dark. Now the medical adjuster is trying to pressure as well. I did retained an atty (on contingency) and he suggest that I use my health insurance to care unless if I can find someone who would do it on lien basis. Since my care is mostly Chiropractor and I don't have the coverage in my plan. I have to self pay each time. The adjuster called last week and said that I have up to 22 visits to chiro for my condition without any knowledge of my medical condition. The question is: Could insurance company limit medical care. Shall I change chiro to someone who offer lien base care even though I felt that he is after big bucks for long-term care, necessary or not. Thank you.
