What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Missouri
My ex wife and I are being summoned to court for a guardianship hearing from her parents. There has been no investigation or any accusations of abuse or misconduct for either one of us. We get along and share responsibilities with the children. The grandparents just do not agree with the way we are raising them. They think they can provide for the children better and we shouldn't be in there lives. Can they do this without any reason or Family services investigation first?

Unless the grandparents can prove the two of you legally unfit, which is very difficult to do, they should not be able to win a guardianship case.

Is there anything specific that they disagree about?
