I am in tennessee. Is there anyway around invasion of privacy(tort law)?(Setting up hidden cameras in a person over the age of 18s room, bathroom, car, friends house etc.Fallowing him everywhere he goes in every room he enters even when he is in his room by himself and broadcasting his everyday life on a national tv show based on him without his knowledge of being filmed or without his consent, even if it is a non profit show)This happened when the guy was a minor his parents put him on tv without his knowledge or consent.Would this show have to end when he turns 18 period no way around it??Is there maybe some sort of government funded system or project that would allow this?Maybe the show was just a science experiment that just so happened to be televised?Anyway around this what so ever?Or do tort laws stand above all?
This would be considered an invasion of privacy and not be allowed to air correct?
And for my last question if this is illegal, seems how the guy did not know he was being filmed in the first place (hidden cameras) and never signed a contract or any form of consent, could a judge order this show off the air since it was being filmed illegally and there is no way he could take it to court because he doesnt even know about it?Is there a loophole around airing his image without his consent as well?
I need real answers so please only answers about how you can help.Sorry to keep asking but I keep getting mixed responses and this is serious.I need to know the exact law or loophole they might have found
He never signed a contract,I am GUESSING his parents would have had to sign a contract correct?Would this show be allowed to air when he turns 18 without his consent(he never even knew it was going on)

First of all, OP, we know "the guy" is you.

Second of all, it would be a good idea for you to tell your story to a professional who can help you discover why you believe a bunch of people are so interested in you that they would go to all the trouble of the elaborate setup you describe.

torts "One who appropriates to his own use or benefit the name or likeness of another is subject to liability to the other for invasion of his privacy."

How could you possibly loophole that?
