Friday night my best friend called me(I have not heard from her in over a week). Actually is was 3:30 a.m. She called me at work screaming and crying in the phone saying that her husband (of 3 months) said he was going to kill her and she wanted me to come pick her up NOW! Scared to death, I called my DH and head over to pick her up. She called the police but did not file charges.
When she gets to my job with me she tells me that they had a fight (as they do very often) and he hit her. Her face and arm were swollen, she had bruises on her chest, and she could not hear out of one ear.
When I got off work, at 7 she went home with me and went to sleep. We went to breakfast after and talked more about "What the hell are you doing?!" Then we got home and my DH said that her husband called. She called him back and he says he is coming to pick her up and she left! I was pissed but I do believe in allowing people to learn from their own mistakes but I hope she does not expect me to leave my job in the middle of the night again!
Onto the more disturbing of the two issues. My SIL is 27 has 2 kids 2 and 4 years old. I spoke with her a couple of months ago and she told me several things that concerned me.
1. Her BF was in jail. So now she is dating his cousin.
2. She left her kids with her BF's sister and went out of town with some friends. The sister called CPS saying that she abandonded her children.
3. She leaves her children with the new BF at night while she works!
I spoke to my DH about it and told him SHE DOES NOT NEED TO LEAVE HER KIDS WITH PEOPLE SHE DOES NOT KNOW! He said I know CPS has already been contacted about her before for something else, but he did not know what.
We went to visit her on Chritmas and the old BF (who was in jail) is now out of jail and the new BF has split. Neither called her or gave her a gift and she was upset.
SIL has no job, and no help from the father's of these kids. Fast foward to last night......... Another SIL called me to ask me about the young lady who lives with the current SIL. I told her I felt that 18 year old runaway who lives with the SIL needs to go home because this woman has her own two kids to care for and does not need another mouth to feed. I then found out that SIL was investigated before because she left her children with someone and her then 18 month old son had two broken ribs! I was so pissed!
What are these women thinking about! I am so angry right now I just needed to get it all off my chest!
