What is the name of your state? IL

I received a notice of discharge from my attorney - will I get an official one from the court or is that it?

Secondly, I owed state taxes that were included on my filing. It was never made clear whether I would need to still pay those... and now the IRS is sending me numerous letters threatening to withold my federal refund next year. However, there is a section that says "I cannot pay this amount because: I filed bankruptcy" and you put in the case number. Does this mean that they just want to know or that I will not have to pay it? And if I dont have to pay it, can they still withold my entire refund even though it will be much larger than the amount due? I have a call into my attorney but he is notorius for taking forever to get back to me!
