Have just found out minor child has been in court for reasons unknown. Can anyone go to the courthouse and get this information? Can the non custodial parent go? Can someone tell me where to start and how to get this information. I do know the court dates. Thanks for your help.

My response:

Unless the file is "Sealed" due to the fact that the court is dealing with a minor, then you should be able to view the court's file.

As a matter of fact, unless it's sealed, anyone can ask the clerk to allowing a viewing of the court's file - - it doesn't need to be a parent.

But if the file is sealed by the court, there will be no way for you to see what is happening.
