Please i need this question to be answered ASAP!!..iam looking for changing my status from J1 to F1 visa but iam concerned because four months ago i was arrested due DWI and right now my driving privileges are suspended until december. Can i apply for a student visa without that affects getting the visa?..Can they deny me the visa?

They can deny you an F-1 because of that, but then they can deny an F-1 for any reason... You won't find out until you apply.
