I don't know about Jersey specifically, but generally as long as the fee is to cover expenses you should be ok but local ordinances might apply.
Actually it could be considered prostitution. He could be charged with that among other things because he is charging a fee for people to swing (i.e. exchange sexual partners). Now if he just wants to have a party with like minded individuals without a fee that would not be prostitution.
What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New Jersey
Is it legal to host one or be involved in one if a fee is charged at the door? Can it be looked at as prostitution somehow?
**A: where is the location ie. in a zoned business district or at a private residence?
C'mon - quit beating around the bush. You are just trying to find out where the party is...![]()
You're so wrong on this its not even funny. I'm going to make a wild assumption here and guess you truly don't understand what this is. If nothing else, attending one of these parties doesn't necessarily mean one will have sex, and more to the point, the entrance fees are usually nominal and really ARE set to cover the cost of the party such as food, drinks, etc.Actually it could be considered prostitution. Slightly off topic but does anybody know how to get astroglide off a ceiling fan?
**A: I know where the party is since I'm the host. I am just trying to see if the OP is one of my invited guests and thinking of a way to not pay the cover charge at the door.
we would be renting out a space (basically a bar/lounge). also assume the possibility of a couple of the girls being pros. is there a way to do it that way legally if not would the regular way work?
