I just read a story that suffolk county District attorney raped and murdered a young lady and got 8 1/2 years.(white)

Then they show a 22yr old law student (black) got caught with 3 kilos of cocaine and recieved 20 to life.

This was in the blotter net.


How is posessing some powder worse than a horrific crime like rape/murder?
And I dont know how they didnt crucify the D.A.?

First, it's not "some powder" ... Second, you do not know the details behind those one line blurbs. There could be dozens of reasons for the discrepency.

Actually, I did some research... and couldn't find anything to support the OP's claims of a "suffolk county District attorney raped and murdered a young lady and got 8 1/2 years.(white)".

And though I think it VERY unlikely that all of these 'details' (law student) are accurate (but they do make for a nice 'enhancement') it is NOT unlikely that a "22yr old (black) got caught with 3 kilos of cocaine and recieved 20 to life."
Probably his 5th or 6th conviction!!

That is why I answered the way I did.
