What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California
I live in CA and was hired to this place a year and a half ago. Upon being hired i received an email saying that "i would like to offer you this position" along with some stipulations. Frankly that I would be working overnights min of 3 months then I would have been moved to what I was initially hired on for. After those three months I was to have trained the next overnight and move to my new better position with a two dollar raise, with a guarantee of another 2 dollar raise at the end of 6 months to the end of my first year. Now neither the new job (it was just not something that could be done and thats fine) nor the pay raises were ever granted. Now like I said im moving on to closer to two years here and ive received none of this, what can I do about either the money lost in all this time, or to guarantee that I receive those wages now without having to wait to go through the $2 then wait to get the next $2. Do I have a right to lost money? or the right to raise I should have received over a year ago?
