I live in a nursing home in Colorado. People here are allowed to eat in their rooms, but I am told they do not have the staff to feed me in my room, so I must go to the dining room. Is this discrimination?

If they allow you the same right as afforded others, not only is it not discrimination, it's trying to compare apples to oranges. Allowing one to eat in their room is not the same thing as having an aid feed you in your room.

It is not illegal discrimination. While they are treating you differently than those other residents, it is because you are in need of a different level of care than those other residents.
