Is this Legal?

Is it legal for an Employer to limit a person to bathroom brakes during a working shift. i.e. I answer a switchboard with others, when someones already in the bathroom can they deny me from going to the bathroom to relieve myself?, and otherwise threaten me with disciliplinary action? Very Curious.
