I was at work one day, when in the back room, the janitor was singing the Pointer Sisters song "I'm So Excited" rearranging the lyrics, singing about how "horny" he was. I left the room, disgusted. The next day, I told my manager about his inappropriate singing, noting how uncomfortable I felt about it, and she said, "Oh - we always joke around like that. It's no big deal. We also go around, when no one's in the store, saying 'so-and-so is gay', or that 'one's so gay', too. It's really harmless." She also giggled, as she tried to make light of his singing. The way she handled it disgusted me even further, and I quit the following day. Is the way my manager handled this complaint considered a form of sexual harassment? Thank anyone who has a response.
