What is the name of your state? OH
We wanted no rentals in our complex because we are small and were spending most of our time on complaints that were on rental units. (non-residing owners).
A amendment to the bylaws was to not allow rentals anymore, we now have just 1 renter (the one that caused the amendment to begin with) and alsot of us think (or actually thought) that when the renter goes that the guy should have to sell. That was most of the owners understanding when they passed the amendment. Of course it's not and I want to see if I can rent my unit now since the HOA says the bylaws are just paper and that I'm unable to live in my unit peacefully.
To me this is discrimination, allowing one unit to rent and the rest of us have to suffer with their harrassment.
