I was wondering does anyone know of a company/website that helps people issue US patents?

I know there are companies that help establish an LLC and other business formations, however, I never came across a company that helps with patents.

You need to work with a patent agent or patent attorney (an agent or attorney licensed to practice with the USPTO) if you want help getting a patent application prepared, filed and prosecuted. You can search for an agent or attorney in your area here: https://oedci.uspto.gov/OEDCI/

I totally agree with the previous posting. Many people have been burned by invention submission companies (see the FTC & USPTO websites).

One thing to keep in mind is that, at present, in the United States, there is a one-year on-sale bar. Any public disclosure, use, or offer for sale may be a bar to your receiving patent protection within the United States if this has occurred outside of one year.
