Hello all,
Short and simple: My wife and I live in a 2 level condo. The lovely (sarcastic) neighbours beneath us have recently aquired a family of mongoloids with a dog to match. The (already living) there neighbours were loud to begin: Alcoholics, dog that barks more than it breaths etc., Over the years I've asked them politely to quiet it down and have complained to the landlord on several occasions.
Now, additionaly, 2 "adults", 2 children under 3 years old and a teenager all have moved in... and another dog to boot. Thankfully, this one only barks every other breath.
I've reviewed the lease - nowhere does it state any limit or amount of occupance unfortunately. They break most of the other regulations - alcohol outside, more than 2 cars, trash and boxes outside in common area etc.,
Isn't there any law that limits how many people can occupy a residence?

My question is - Can I move out without giving 30 days notice because of this? The noise is not deemed "peaceful" by any means, rotting dog sh*t under our balcony deck, 7 noisy people living in a 2 BR, trash in common area etc.,

I've made the landlord aware of what is going on several times. No change for over 3 months now.

Are you a racist or just insensitive to people with disabilities?

Mongoloid - The -oid racial terms are now controversial in both technical and nontechnical contexts and are likely to give offense no matter how they are used. [1]

Since people with the disability Down syndrome have some superficial Mongoloid facial features, the term "Mongoloid" was once also used as a synonym for "retarded." This usage, once neutral, is now considered offensive.

Call DCF and report them, 2 bedrooms in most states equals 4 people. The DCF office could tell you exactly what can be done. Also note that if they have only been there for a short time they could claim that they were "just visiting" and or they might have evacuated from one of the disaster areas from the hurricane. I would assume since there is nothing in your lease and if the landlord does not care, that DCF would be your only hope.

Regarding the "family of mongoloids" - perhaps you should lighten up a bit. Mongoloid, in this case, was a compliment describing the occupance. Go outside and mingle with those 4" stilettos once and a while!

First of all, the word is "occupants."

Second of all, the phrase is, "once in a while."

Third, I was offended by your remarks and someone of Asian descent might be as well. Why do you have to use comments like this to get your point across? It's ignorant.
