Job Loss/Lawsuit/Child Support

I recently lost my job, I pay my child support though the DA and owe no arrearage = I am totally currect.
My question is this: I lost my job today but I also have a workers comp claim against them and I was in negotiations with my employer regarding them under paying me according to a legal contract I had with them and I will now hire an attorney to file a lawsuit against this company for the purpose of recouping my losses from the last 8 months. I am going to report my job loss to the DA and I am wondering this ... if and when I receive one/both settlements, is my ex-wife entitled to any of that money as the mother of one of my children?
Can anyone help me with this?

You bet ! As long as there are children to feed, house, and clothe, the D.A. "owns" you.

It's time to get a job, real fast. Those arrearages, penalties and interest mount up real fast, too.

I think you misundestood me, I plan to write a personal check for the court ordered support I still owe in spite of being currently unemployed, so I stay current and occur no arrearage. All done through the DA's office of course!

I wanted to know this: in the end if/when I receive a settlement either from worker's comp or my employer -- as my ex wife and mother of one of my child ( as I am currently remarried with other children in the house)will she have rights to 'collect' on my misfotune...as I am sure she will try to do as she is a gold-digging female that drops my child off at others house to be watched but has her hand out every month for the fringe benefits = meaning the income from my child support.

That's the circumstance of this case and I would rather see me open an account for my daugther then see my ex get a penney of it as my daugther will never see the benefit of that money!!!!
