I just got a heads up that I may be about to loose my job. As NCP I pay CS each week. What EXACTLY do I need to do to protect myself from being in contempt if I can't pay all my CS? I looked at Indiana website but can't figure out what form I need to file with the court. Do I have to have an attorney file something for me?

If you might lose your job, you may want to start looking for a new job to prevent any loss of income.

Well, OF COURSE I'm looking for a new job. I want to be prepared so I'm not one of those people who are in contempt due to not notifying court BEFORE I miss any payments. I want to file any required paperwork on day one. I also am pretty sure I'll not be employable at this income. Getting this job was a fluke.

you will have to file for a modification of support, call the court has and ask what papers need to be filed for a modification. more then likely you will be held to your previous income though. they court sees it as you were capable of making that once, so you can again.
