If my father adds me to his bank accounts making them joint accounts, will the funds from these accounts be excluded from probate?

If my father adds me to his bank accounts making them joint accounts, will the funds from these accounts be excluded from probate?
If the accounts are titled so that there is right of survivorship, then they would not be probate assets.

If your father survives for a year or more after doing so, only 1/2 would be subject to the PA Inheritance Tax. If less than a year, the entire value would be subject to the tax.
