What is the name of your state? FL
As I prepare for my Chapter 7 filing, one potential trouble spot appears to be vehicle ownership. My wife and I own two vehicles, both paid in full. Our names on the title for each reads Bob OR Mary, rather than Bob AND Mary. I am assuming this makes a difference, and with the former I may not reduce this asset in half as I could with the latter. (I am filing BK separately as our only joint assests are these cars and our residence.)
If I am correct, can changing the title from OR to AND be done?
