My daughter and her hushband are getting a divorce and they both filed for temp. custody. But husband got it. the judge that signed the order is a friend of their family. I for one dont think this is right. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your daughter needs an attorney...and preferibly one that doesn't normally practise in the county. The judge that ruled should never have ruled on the case...he should have recused himself. If your daughter had an attorney from outside of the county he probably would have.

Get your daughter legal help that isn't beholden to this judge for their career....you are dealing with the "good ole boy" network...get outside of it.

I always found it interesting that in Bush V. Gore, the Supreme Court justices whose family members actually WORKED for Bush related interests did not feel it necessary to recuse themselves.

Well he%% hon, if every Supreme Court Justice who could have had a possible conflict in that case had had to recuse themselves...the entire USSC panel would have had to recuse themselves...LOL
