What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Co
My stipulation/court order states that both parents pay for medical bills 50/50. I currently have a current judgement in which the x is paying for past medical bills through garnishment. But at that point I had an attorney who filed the paperwork to ask the court for a judgment. Is there a way to go to the courts without an attorney to file a new judgement for past due medical expenses? Can't see making the attorney rich if I really don't need to.
Thanks

File for contempt of court by following the local rules and rules of civil procedure and ask for garnishment as the relief.

The x doesn't make a whole lot of money and I am sure the judge would look at me and laugh. But a court order is a court order. The x should have to follow it. I was awarded a judgement before....but I thought there was a way to go down to the court house and ask for a judgement without an attorney???
