What US state?
I'm sure there are (unfortunately) many people who have been in similar situations. What is your specific question?

In any future posts, please use something that resembles proper capitalization and punctuation. Doing so will make it easier for others to read and understand what you write.

Huh? Is that a reference to a statute? If so, what statute in what state?

has anyone else went through this

I'm going to guess that "this" refers to the consequences of being convicted of DUI/DWI. If so, the answer to your inquiry is obviously yes.

If I understand correctly, you must have the IID installed on your vehicle until November 2029. If you provide your state name, it is possible that we can tell you if and/or how you can get the restrictions on your license lifted early.

I suspect it's Tennessee, and OP is referring to 11/29 sentence for DUI. This is supposed to last 11 months and 29 days, so I guess OP's point is that it's been more than 11 months and 29 days.

If OP has successfully met the terms of probation, then they should go back to court and obtain an order to remove the interlock device.

However, that's just guessing. Perhaps OP will return and clarify.

The state really matters here, as does the type of offense (first, second, third?).

The following link, provided for its information only, is a great resource that shows the length of time an IID installation can be required for each state:

https://www.findlaw.com/dui/laws-resources/suspended-license-reinstatement-by-state.html

In some states, a restrictive license with an IID installation will have the IID installation mandatory for the length of the license suspension, so there is no opportunity for the lifting of the requirement.
