What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Alabama/Texas

My husband was a juvy in Alabama when he commited a crime and now he lives in Texas. For some reason he shows up on a background check but he is an adult now. Besides hiring a lawyer what can we do to fix it? Would legal aid help us with this? He can't get a job because of it. Thank you for any help.

Why wouldn't it show up? He committed the crime, according to your posting.

Because he was a "juvy" duh and that were his conditions that he would not have a criminal record because he was not 18. Do you know anything about the law or just stupid?

Who's the stupid one? You're the one asking questions about your boyfriend, not us. Tell you what: call the juvenile court in the county where your boyfriend got into trouble and ask them your question.

Oh, and so you know: my youngest brother pulled some stupid stuff in Alabama when he was a teenager (and was busted for it). He's now a well-respected fire lieutenant. Maybe your boyfriend is lying to you about something.
