What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
I work for Company A in INDIA(Home country) and the company A has its head quarters in New Jersey, USA. When i was working in INDIA,My company sponsored me to travel to United States through L1B Visa. So i got my L1B visa issued in February 2008 and it was valid till February 2011 (3 years).
Though i got my visa in february 2008, i travelled to united states in May 2010 and am currently staying in united states. When my visa expired in February 2011, i applied for extension and visa has been extended till february 2013(2 years more). My visa has been issued for 5 years till now(3 years + 2 years), but i didnt stay in US for 2 years and 2 months(i-94 arrival/departure record has my US arrival date as - May 2010). When exactly my L1B Visa Clock starts in february 2008 or in May 2010?
I mean the time 2 years and 2 months will be accounted to the maximum duration of 6 years for a non-immigrant visa?
