Last Paycheck Not Received

What is the name of your state? California

Is there a law requiring the final paycheck of an employee to be received by a certain date after the employee's resignation? My daughter quit her job over a week ago, and the regular pay day was last Friday. It's now Tuesday and so far, no paycheck.

I think CA has a law regarding this, but I don't know it offhand. Do a search of this forum and/or Google, shouldn't be too hard to find.
