What is the name of your state? Mississippi

I filed bankruptcy in 2002 and got discharged in 2003. I got a secured credit card trying to re-establish my credit after the bankruptcy and was late on a payment on time. I have been calling around to see if I can be qualified for a home loan and I have been told that it is against the law to ever be late again on anything. Is this true and who can I talk to and try and get a home loan?

*** Of course not.

"and who can I talk to and try and get a home loan?"
*** There are lots of lenders out there who will loan to you, though at a higher rate and higher down payment requirements to do your higher risk.
