Ohio-----Just been informed live-in girlfriend of deceased has filed a motion in the courts to sue the estate of deceased for "supposed" funds she contributed to some renovations done inside the deceased's home while he was alive and living together with him--"said" renovations were done around 3 yrs ago. Question: Is a trust that was set-up (revocable trust) at the time the deceased made his will considered part of the estate? Could the funds in the trust be attached if she won her suit? Or is the trust not considered part of an "estate" since it does not go through probate? Could someone possibly shed some light on this--Thanks
