What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?NEW YORK
I own a condominium for the past 9 months I have complained about water leaking from the roof in to the living room. This leak is coming from the apartment upstairs most likely from his terrace. I have lost my tenant and can not rent the apartment. Every time it rains water leaks in. I have showed this to the management they are aware of this problem yet nothing has been done. I have lost 9 months rent. who is responsible for the rents I have lost? Who is responsible to repair the damage? I have complained for the past 9 months and they still have not repaired the leak.

**A: file a claim with your insurance company. Send a certified rrr letter to both the Board President and the property management company. If still no action, hire an attorney.
