Alimony and Spousal Support

Patsy:

I suspect your legal fees should be chargeable to your husband as part of any final settlement, as you are not in a position to pay them. Advise you consult with several lawyers as most offer a free consultation. He or she can also advise you on alimony and child support issues. Good luck.

Also, check with your state bar association and ask about the possibility of a pro bono attorney.

I was thinking about American culture today, and was amused....In the '60's when two guys talked to each other they would say things like "I got a "59 Chevy with 450 cubic inches, dual exhaust and a Thrush!" Now they would say "I got a pentium IV' @ 1.5 gigahertz, DVD-ROM, 4 gigs RAM, 40 gig HD and a DSL modem!"
