What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MA,
my mortgage, homestead, property deed are all in my current name.
if I get married and change my name will i have to change the name on these documents?
thank you for your comments.

You do not, but its a good idea to let them know that you got married and changed your name. In the event you died and your spouse tried to claim property I have seen companies give the run around because of different last names, etc.

It's probably not a bad idea to send them a copy of the marriage certificate for their files.
