What is the name of your state? Pennsylvania
Hello. I had posted a question on here a few months ago about wills. I have another question. I will try to make it sound as simple as possible. My uncle produced a will, that is not completely filled out.. one of the fill in the blanks. It was not filled out at the bottom and had no witnesses. It was supposedly made in 1996.
At the register of wills it was turned in and there was my uncle's signature to the validity and it was necessary for another signature. The man who signed that he knew my grandpa's signature, I am 99% sure that he didn't know my grandpa. He lives in the same town that my uncle works. Considering what would be received in the estate it is possible that my uncle could have paid the man to be a witness to the legality of the signature.
I also have reason to believe that the will could be a forgery, knowing how my uncle is. He has shown numerous times that the money was more important that his father and it just makes the whole will look suspicious.
I know that when you get older that your handwriting changes, but the handwriting was so inconsistent. I don't know if it is worth to get a handwriting specialist.
I guess what I am basically trying to do is ask for advise or opinion, since my lawyer is sounding kind of sceptical.. acting as though he is not sure if he wants to do the case anymore. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Thank you.
