I just found out from Sissy that Oz's new wife sent a rather ugly letter to our her.. I just sent him the following email to find out if he had knowledge of said letter before it was sent.

Here's what I wrote, tell me if I'm out of line. Our eldest has lupus and has just gone into a temporary remission, so I really don't want her upset by b.s.

Oz,
Sissy received a rather confrontational letter from your current wife today. I would like to know exactly what was said in this letter and if you had knowledge that this letter was sent. Sissy said that it was signed by your current wife and you. If you have knowledge of this, please forward said letter to me.

i don't think it's out of line. but then i don't think two black eyes are out of line. sorry, but i giggled when you said "current" wife. like there's several others waiting in the wings.

Yep it was a typo...

No others waiting in the wing that I can think of....I was really pissed after the eldest forwarded the letter the step wrote to her. Just wanted to know if I remained in control enough.

Seems that the ex is now seeing a psychologist due to all the hurt that the "bad"children have caused him.(Or at least that is what he tells his wife) I just think it is total b.s to lay this at kiddos' feet. Ex was seeing a psychologist before marrying her. (Had issues regarding his own family prior)She told him that she did not believe in any type of mental therapy, that taking care of mental health was voo-doo medicine. He told me this himself right after they married and we were still on friendlier terms.

Just hoping no one thinks my letter is out of line. I can't imagine writing anyone's children and blaming them for any psychological problems that a spouse had.

that's such a coward way out. blaming a child. blame your mom, blame your dad, but your own child. come on. yo're the one that made them that way.

mental therapy does have a bad rap. i've been fighting my own issues for years. didn't want to admit to myself i inherited my mother's problems. but, my purpose is to handle it differently then she did.
