my son was riding in a stolen car that was involved in an accident, the car was totaled, however my son is not charged with a crime, the retail value of the car is $2000, the whole sale value is approx. $1500, owner paid $1200, the two families invoved offered $2000, the owner wants more, what is fair? If the owner brings this to small claims court, would a judge think the $2000 offer is resonable?

If I was the judge I would.
