Woodbridge, VA-- Crazy exwife has filed a motion to demand I get life insurance for her--which she will pay for--in lieu of the Survivor Benefit Plan denoted in the divorce decree--I waived that option several years ago when I was active duty inthe air force... I am now re-married... Is this legal why should i get life insurance for my ex-wife--can a judge rule that?!?! It isn't stated inmy divorce decree--Please someone respond-I can't afford anymore legal bills or court dates-

If your decree doesn't say anything about you getting insurance for her, you have no obligation to do so.

The fact that she now wishes to have life insurance would, in my opinion, fall on deaf ears in court.

I would ask the court to order her to pay your attorney fees associated with this new, frivilous action.
