What is the name of your state? NJ
For almost the past year my mother has been taking care of an elderly woman. She is diagnosed with alzheimers disease. During the beginning stages my mother convinced this woman to make her POA. Since then my mother has been taking advantage of this woman. She uses this womans money for her own personal reasons, including 2 seperate cars for her and my stepfather that she paid for in cash. She has remodeled her house, bought a new computer, basically living the good life while she leaves this woman alone in her house all day. She even has a Dicover card in the woman's deceased husbands name with over $5000 charged to it. Keep in mind my mother has no job and hasnt for many years and has a credit score a little over 500. This woman has no relatives other than her niece who lives out of state and is given what little information my mother gives her. Other than through my mother nobody has any way to reach her. What can we do for this woman?
