I'm looking for a central, or local registry that keeps track of Lawyers who have been either repremanded or dis-barred, due to their actions, or lack of same.
I'm from Rhode Island, and if anyone can point me to a link or site that might help, thanks.
I had a bad experience with 1 already that cost me over $15,000.00 and I want to be able to research 1st before I do this again.
We have "boards" and links for Medicial personal who go wrong, but I can't locate anything on lawyers, HELP?????

Check with your local ABA chapter and the State Office that licenses attorneys.
