My situation involves a local town gov't agency bringing an endless stream of town ordinance charges involving building code-like violations, against me.
To date, and acting ProSe in my court defense, I have managed to have dismissed a total of 6 charges. Currently, I have sought and received permission from the court, to submit a "notice of motion to renew" to seek dismissal of last charge #7, by presenting "new" evidence, not previously before the court, to demonstrate there is no supporting law for the current charge, as imposed against me.
At the point of receiving permission, town attorney cited me with 5 additional charges, 3 of which are repeats of the last batch, and all of which I believe have no basis in law, as imposed against me or anything I have done.
My question is this...what remedy do I have to stop the town from engaging in any further harassment of this nature? I am looking for a legal tool that will prohibit them from issuing summonses against me for related charges.
This is now 2 years long I am in court and I have not been able to work as I have made twice monthly court appearances and have conducted lengthy research at law library. I would've never been able to pay an attorney for this. I am in a desparate situation as the Town is attempting to prevail over me not by rule of law but by a war of attrition.
