What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state?KY

I just have one quick question. I have been trying to get child support from my ex for about two years now. I had him arrested and we went to court were we agreed that he would pay me the amount he was suppose to plus 25%. That was in April and I still have received nothing. I called the agency and they said they found out were he is working and it would be about three weeks before they could start garnishing his wages.
I speak with my ex and ask why he isn't cooperating, he says that he called them three weeks ago and told them were he was working and that he wanted it taken from his paycheck.
What is the hold up? I'm getting very frustrated with the whole system.

I'm sorry, but the only question you asked was, "What is the hold up"? Unfortunetly you have a deadbeat X, and it sounds like things are catching up to him.

It takes time for things to happen and fall into place. Take a deep breath and count to ten. :)

Thank you for your quick reply and for the smile.
I just get so frustrated with the whole situation. I work so hard and financially I support my daughter on my own.
Anyway, I think I will take your advice. I just need to breathe. :)
Thanks again.

Don't forget the glass of wine and a bubble bath. ;) It is falling into place, they will garnish his pay, it just takes time for it to hit your pocket.

Everytime my husbands ex quits her jobs and gets another one it takes 3 months before they garnish her wages. by then she has moved onto another job to avoid her support. Its finaly catching up with her too.
